"I cannot recommend booking with Ho'olei enough. We had four adults (two married couples) and one infant and the experience was fantastic. First off, the Ho'olei team was extremely communicative weeks before our trip even started. We had texts and emails with the concierge regularly As a parent of an infant, the included high chair, crib, and baby proofing of the unit was extremely helpful. It was all set up when we arrived. Additionally, as we had a full kitchen and grill, they have a grocery service that will pick up groceries before you get there. We arrived at 2AM our time (8PM Hawaii time) and all of our groceries were put away in the fridge and on the counter ready for us to use. It was a very nice thing after 14+ hours of travel. Check in was very smooth with clear instructions of how to use the property. We had a Deluxe Ocean View which meant we were in the last row. The views of the ocean were incredible with multiple whale sightings per day. The only downfall of this is that the walk down to the pool or the hotel was a little longer. However, if you do want to go to the hotel, free valet was included in our stay which was a huge bonus. Additionally, when you don't want to drive, there is a daily shuttle service you just text to get picked up that runs until 8PM (however the valets take over after 8PM) Our concierge helped us book 99% of our activities. We also had a reservation as Mama's fish house, which you have to book months in advance. At the last minute we had another guest wanting to join us for dinner and the concierge was able to contact the restaurant and add the additional guest. This was a fantastic trip and if you have any questions I am more than happy to answer it!!"
"Just returned from 6 days here and can't wait to go back! We were traveling with 2 adult children, and really debated between the main hotel and the villas. SO glad we went with the villas. Everything felt huge, spacious, and was very clean. We had a deluxe ocean view and the view never got old. The kitchen was equipped with first class dishes, pots and pans, and so much more. We were more than impressed. Bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and spacious. Silly thing, but they even provided laundry detergent which was nice to not have to buy. Walked or drove to the main hotel and sat at the adult pool daily. Easy walk, or can valet the car too. Walked the path to neighboring hotels for some variety. Pool food, drinks and service was really good. Sparkle our favorite server and so sweet! Sat at the beach too, no charge for chairs. Had a great dinner at HumuHumu...pricey but delicious, the sunset was worth it. Had a late flight the last day, so were able to use showers at Hoolei pool area before we left. They were nice and clean too. And the staff was amazing! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back!"

"The room design facilities are very similar to the domestic Samsung to four-star restaurant. The taste of the restaurant is also good. There is no entertainment. The standard check-in time for this hotel is 4:00 pm. Later, after learning about the local land price with the agent, I probably understand why the hotel is so expensive."

"Let me start by saying that if you want the resort vibe and this hotel isn't substantially less than the Marriott Wailea...then you'll probably be happier at the other hotel. This hotel caters more to business travelers, those looking for a stopover before checking in to the main hotel, and those looking to stay away from crazy resorts. If you haven't been to Hawaii and you've been saving up for the big trip with all of the extras, you might be disappointed to find out that it's not on the ocean and is missing some of the amenities you might see further down the road. No one is planning your dinners or bringing you room service here. It's definitely not for everyone...but it's for me. :) Personally, I loved it. I loved that I could get a cabana without paying $250, I loved the laid back pool bar, and I loved that I didn't pay a resort fee on top of parking. No forgetting where I parked my car or fighting for pool chairs at 7am like I've experienced elsewhere.. It's super easy to walk down to the beach, explore resorts, get to the shops, etc. Everyone we chatted with at the hotel was amazing and there was plenty of room to spread out at the pool and the lobby. I'll definitely be back. "
"Its a beautiful hotel off the waterfront. Staff were very nice and the lounge/bar is exceptional. You cant miss the parking lot standing out in views and pictures from the balcony, but thats a minor annoyance. Super enjoyed the lounge after hours with an environment conducive to conversation. The rooms are appropriate for the price, but the location inferior to beachfront hotels similarly priced. We enjoyed our stay, but wouldnt return. The hotel is set up under contract with several airlines and provides free rooms to airline staff for a fixed corporate fee. This means it is set up for short term stays and longer term guests are a bit short changed. Example - complimentary water only for the first night and you are on you own thereafter. No make up mirrors. Spa was not functioning for at least a week and was not fixed when we departed. Advised we could use a spa belonging to other hotel a 1/4 mile away. Seriously? A mismanaged solution to a fairly pricey Marriot. Irrespective, its a very nice hotel if you are not planning on beach access and only in Maui for the short term. Balcony suites are only larger balconies and not suites."

"The hotel is very comfortable. The whole room is good. There is a large swimming pool and a heated pool. The rooms are large. Maybe Maui Island is more expensive as a whole. This is the right price. Seeing the organic group also stays in this hotel hahaha. The breakfast at the hotel is very generous, but the breakfast here is more diy than the high-end hotel. Many things need to be done by yourself, such as baking muffins and toasting, but it is quite interesting. The bitter thing about breakfast is that there are too many birds. As long as no one is at the table, there will be birds to eat food. I was mad twice after being eaten twice. The only disadvantage of the hotel is probably the location. It is far from the main attractions of Maui Island and the famous beaches. Especially when you are tired by car, you will feel that the location selection has failed. But overall it is a wonderful experience!"
